Members asked. AWB's events team delivered.

Based on member feedback, this year’s AWB Legislative Day and Hill Climb starts and ends on the Capitol campus, giving attendees more time to connect with lawmakers.

This event is important because it's employers' chance to share their thoughts on legislation being considered -- to have their voice heard on the issues that impact their business and their employees.

And, this year's list of legislation that has the potential to impact employers is long. Major policy changes on everything from climate and workplace laws to transportation and education are being debated.

The lunch breakout sessions will cover budget and taxes and human resources and workplace issues. AWB's issue experts will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions.

The day ends in spectacular fashion with a networking reception with lawmakers, state agency leaders and fellow business owners and leaders.

The day's program -- lunches and Hill Climb -- are sold out, but spots are still available for the evening reception.

There is currently a waiting list for AWB's room block is at the Hilton Garden Inn Olympia. Contact Kelli Schueler at 360.943.1600 or KelliS@awb.org to learn more and be placed on the hotel wait list.
