Washington employers definitely made a positive impact at this year’s Legislative Day and Hill Climb.

"I think we got somewhere, we actually made a difference," said Stephanie Swanberg, government affairs manger for the Tri-Cities Regional Chamber of Commerce. "I feel like it was really effective and I feel like this Hill Climb was probably the best part of this entire event."

AWB continues to highlight the importance of B & O tax relief legislation as it progresses through the Legislature.

Before meeting with lawmakers, AWB members heard from a number of experts on workforce development, manufacturing, employment law, climate policy and legislative leaders in a series of panel discussions during the 2018 Legislative Day and Hill Climb.

The event finished with a reception at the Hotel RL Olympia, attended by more than 350 AWB members, lawmakers, state officials and others.
