Governor's office: Carbon price could boost cost of gasoline by $1.46 a gallon by 2035

Gov. Jay Inslee's office said a possible carbon price could increase gas costs by up to $1.46 a gallon within 20 years. A lower law scenario would increase gas prices by 38 cents a gallon by 2035, according to new computer modeling.
