Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:  The CDC is the primary federal agency for conducting and supporting public health activities in the United States.

Centers for Disease Control Seasonal Flu Site: Updates and current information about flu outbreaks in Washington state, the U.S. and around the world.  

Emergency Management Division: Includes special information for businesses in the event of a crisis. AWB is the official liaison between the employer community and the EMD.

Flu.gov: One-stop access to the U.S. government’s H1N1, avian and pandemic flu information.

Washington State Department of Health: The state agency charged with working with its federal, state and local partners to help people in Washington stay healthier and safer.

Choose Washington: Washington State Department of Commerce site offering economic development, business climate and quality of life information for Washington state.  

Ready and Listo: English and Spanish-language emergency preparedness websites from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and FEMA. The sites are designed to help owners and managers of small- to medium-sized businesses prepare their employees, operations and assets in the event of an emergency.

Small Business Section - Department of Financial Institution:  Official website of the DFI. This site offers information about small business capital formation. 

Small Business and Self-Employed Tax Center: IRS website with resources about starting and operating a business, employment taxes, tax law changes for business, business-related forms and publications, and online learning options.

U.S. Small Business Administration: Offers information on everything from the SBA's loan program and how it works to explanations of government contracting. Visitors can search for an SBA employee by name or get a list of current events. The site also provides links to other government sites of interest to businesses.

Washington State Emergency Management Division's Business Portal: A one-stop destination that businesses of all sizes can access to find the most requested resources related to emergency situations.

Washington State Government and Business: Part of the Access Washington network, this resource guide helps businesses find the information and services they need to conduct business in and with the state.
