Coovert, co-owner of Printcom in Burien, received the S. Fred Bruhn Award, the association’s top honor for a member of the business community. The annual award, named for the former Safeco senior vice president and longtime AWB board member, recognizes a member of AWB’s board of directors for exceptional work on behalf of AWB and the state’s employers.
“Judy Coovert is an amazing friend of every business owner in the state,” Brunell said. “Her dedication to promoting business interests by testifying in Olympia, serving on AWB’s board or speaking out on current issues is truly remarkable. She was a unanimous choice for this award.”
