2019 Holiday Kids' Tree

Friday, December 6
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
A holiday tradition returns to the state Capitol in Olympia with the lighting of the Holiday Kids' Tree. AWB sponsors the evening lighting ceremony with top state leaders and representatives of fire departments from across Washington.

This year's tree lighter will be Jayden Nelson, an elementary school student from Lewis County who has become a major fundraiser and advocate for Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.

The event begins in the Capitol Rotunda at 6 p.m. with holiday music. After the tree is lit, a very special guest from the North Pole arrives and children are invited to sit on Santa's lap for photos.

The event is completely free and open to the public.
