The Association of Washington Business is pleased to sponsor a Certified Safety Coordinator program to recognize educational achievement and professional excellence.
Certified Safety Coordinator
AWB, in partnership with Sedgwick CMS, sponsors a Certified Safety Coordinator program to recognize educational achievement and professional excellence. This program is for safety and non-safety professionals who wish to increase their safety knowledge and effectiveness in developing and administering safety programs within their company.
The ongoing certification curriculum is comprised of top-quality courses designed to help you do your job more effectively. Enrollment in the certification program will demonstrate your continuing efforts toward voluntary compliance with OSHA standards and regulations. Each participant will receive a large binder with all course materials and supporting documents.
Certificate Requirements
- Students enroll in seven required courses and five elective courses.
- Upon completion, the candidate will receive a framed certificate.
- AWB will maintain a transcript of participants' collective credits.
- There is no fee for enrolling in the certification program. Participants pay only the regular registration fee for each seminar.
- Participants will receive promotional brochures on all qualifying seminars. Each brochure will state that the seminar is included in the certification curriculum.
