AWB's New Strategic Plan Set for Review, Approval by Board in January

The 15-member Strategic Planning Committee, led by Board Chair Mike Schwenk and Co-chair Michael Senske, worked hard this year to craft a plan that creates a vision and mission for AWB to be a catalytic leader, allowing us to offer solutions to problems whenever possible. Of course, we’re already doing this, but the plan will outline specific steps and make us ask the questions that need to be answered: How do we serve as the convener of diverse groups to make Washington a great place to work, live and operate a business? What can we do facilitate finding common ground on divisive issues? And, how can we build on our role as a leading advocate for employers and employees in the state?

The build out of strategies is happening now and the updated Strategic Plan will go to the full board for approval mid-January. The Washington Business winter 2016 magazine, in your mailbox soon, has more on this effort.
