Continuing education helps AWB members stay on top

AWB members know that information can make or break a business. That explains why so many of our members attend AWB seminars and events each year.

AWB events and seminars provide up-to-date information on topics such as employment law, environmental compliance, wage and hour and workplace health and safety. Many members save enough money from attending just one workshop or seminar to more than offset their annual AWB membership dues. Special forums on health care and other important issues are also held throughout the year.

Events like AWB’s annual Policy Summit each September and Legislative Reception in February offer a chance for members to get up-date information on legislation that could have an impact on their businesses. These events also offer members a chance to talk one-on-one with their legislators about the issues employers find most important.

AWB also produces a wide range of useful publications aimed at helping employers deal with everything from employment law to wage and hour. AWB also offers computer CD’s members can use to customize employee forms and policies.
