The Association of Washington Business and Sedgwick CMS are offering courses for safety and non-safety professionals who wish to increase their safety knowledge and effectiveness in developing and administering safety programs within their company.

You may choose to participate in individual courses, or you may choose the “
Certified Safety Coordinator” program. For this program students take seven required courses and five electives. Upon completion, the candidate will receive a “Certified Safety Coordinator” certificate.

Robert Meyer
Mr. Meyer is Risk Services Program Manager with Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. in Seattle, Washington.
Bob has 23 years experience in safety and risk control. He joined Sedgwick CMS in 2000 as a Senior Risk Control Consultant in Seattle. Prior to joining Sedgwick CMS, Bob was a Division Manager for Loss Control with a start up insurance company in Maine. He has extensive experience in safety in the forest products industry, manufacturing, warehousing, and healthcare. Bob’s specialties include training & education, program development & implementation, and industrial hygiene.
Bob has a Master’s degree in business and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
Jeff Jones
Mr. Jones is Sr. Risk Services Consultant with Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. in Portland, Oregon.
Jeff has 37 years experience in safety and risk control. Prior to joining Sedgwick CMS, Jeff was a Loss Control Consultant with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company which included property, liability, and workers’ compensation. Jeff’s specialties include training & education, videography, and industrial hygiene.
Jeff has completed some postgraduate course work in health and safety, is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Hazard Control Manager (CHCM).
Emily Molitor
Ms. Molitor is Sr. Risk Services Consultant with Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. in Ephrata, Washington.
Emily has 15 years experience in safety and risk control and a diverse safety background with electrical utilities, manufacturing plants, health care, oil refineries, and construction firms. Emily’s specialties include ergonomics, program development, and training & education.
Emily has a Bachelor of Science degree in Loss Control Management from Central Washington University and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
