President Obama has signed landmark legislation on health-care reform into law and the impact on employers is substantial and complicated. For the first time, many employers will be subjected to penalties if they do not offer coverage to employees or if the coverage fails an affordability test. Some requirements go into effect now, and others are phased in over the course of several years. Down the road, employers also could be affected by a new tax on costly health insurance plans if health care plan costs continue to rise.
To help employers keep up with the latest developments, we have developed a webinar series to address key provisions on health care reform and explain how it will affect your company.

In April of 2010, the U.S. DOL’s released a press release announcing the mark of the beginning of the "We Can Help" nationwide campaign. The effort, which is being spearheaded by the department's Wage and Hour Division, will push employees towards the U.S. Department of Labor. The agency is armed with 250 new investigators and plans to have 1,000 on board by the close of FY 2011—representing an increase of approximately 50 percent over 2008 levels.
Employers of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds and industries must prepare for this growing onset of wage/hour enforcement and litigation. Join us for this half day seminar to learn how to avoid the DOL's new employee misclassification crackdown and let us show you how to avoid crushing lawsuit errors.

Proper forklift safety training will make your company a safer place to work—and keep you in compliance with the law. Without realizing it, many companies fail to fully comply with the increasingly stringent safety laws for forklifts and other power industrial trucks. Are you compliant or are you breaking the law?
This seminar will teach current operators how to conduct safety training for their employees. Upon completion of this course, attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion and a c.d. with a PowerPoint presentation and a PDF manual they can reproduce to train their own employees on proper forklift safety.
