OLYMPIA — The Association of Washington Business will kick-off the holiday season in Olympia next Friday, Dec. 4 with a tree-lighting ceremony in the Capitol. The event is part of the AWB Holiday Kids’ Tree Project, a fundraiser for rural families in need. To date, more than $22,000 has been raised for fire departments to buy toys and food for families in 15 rural communities in the state.
