Remember Federal Deadlines – You Can Be Reimbursed for Prescription Drug Costs
Employers who pay for prescription drug benefits for Medicare-eligible employees or retirees may qualify for partial reimbursement of those costs. Employers must enroll Aug. 15-Sept. 30 and send letters to eligible employees/retirees informing them of the benefit by Nov. 15. The letter should be sent no later than early October. Keep Pressure on Senate to Kill National Health Association Bill
AWB opposes H.R. 525, which creates unstable small business insurance markets by bifurcating ground rules for state regulated and federally certified health plans. Calling All AWB Members – Help Expand Our Membership
Washington’s business community is facing common issues and concerns – UI, workers’ comp, health care, taxes, regulation and many others. AWB’s success in promoting a pro-business agenda in Olympia is directly related to our numbers. Business, indeed, has a larger voice if we stick together. However, not all businesses are part of AWB. As AWB members, you can help us by referring us to businesses we can contact and work on bringing into AWB. With major policy battles approaching in the 2006 legislative session, it is essential that as many businesses as possible be brought under AWB’s roof to give us a stronger voice. Contact AWB’s Jim Durland at (360) 943-1600 or JimD@awb.org.
