Frivolous Lawsuit Department – A Pickle of a Problem!
Lawsuits just keep getting wackier and more expensive for businesses! If you still don’t think we need tort reform, consider this gem: In Tennessee, a woman is seeking damages from McDonald’s because she claimed a pickle that was too hot slipped out of her burger bun and permanently scarred her chin. Not wanting to miss out on the action, her husband is also suing McDonald’s because he “has been deprived of the services and consortium of his wife.” What next?!?!
