URGENT - Primary Election Voter Registration Deadline is Aug. 14….Register at www.awb.org
Primary election voter turnout will determine the finalists for November’s general election. For example, it will determine if Attorney General Christine Gregoire or King County Executive Ron Sims will face Dino Rossi in the gubernatorial race. The deadline to register for the primary election is Aug. 14. AWB makes voter registration easy. Go to www.awb.org and click the "Register to Vote" button on the lower left-hand side of the page!

Confused About the New Primary Election Balloting - Go to www.awb.org for Clarification.
You are not alone if you are confused about the new primary election system. By visiting www.awb.org, AWB can help you learn how the new system works. In a nutshell, while you do not have to register by political party or disclose your political party preference, you cannot cross party lines to vote. You have to vote the party line - whether it is Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or Independent. If you cross party lines in the primary, your ballot will not count. Make your vote count - learn the new rules.

Don’t Like the New Party-Line Primary Election System? I-872 Can Change That in November!
You can change the new primary system on Nov. 2 by voting for I-872. I-872, sponsored by the Washington State Grange, allows the top two primary vote getters - regardless of political party - to advance to the general election. Visit www.wa-grange.org.
